Happiness Meme, Day 7 (sort of)
I didn't get around to posting yesterday, so I'll do today and tomorrow instead of finishing up today. I'll also try to come up with several things to make up for my lateness.
THE HAPPINESS MEME
Rules: For eight days you have to post something that made you happy that day.
1. Re-ensoulment!

Our collective soul, that is, here in the US. Thanks to the Executive Orders President Obama signed today. It doesn't fix the damage already done, of course, and they've got to figure out what to do with the detainees still in Gitmo. But my posture improved a bit as I watched him. (Besides, the military has put David Iglesias in charge of the prosecutions.)
2. M:TNG-1 has finally gotten all her paperwork together for her semester abroad.
3. These cute Sasha and Malia dolls and this hilarious Obama action figure. I especially like the pose with him battling
4. The reaction on CNN to Obama's taking the oath of office a second time. There was a print reporter there, still pictures were taken, and there is an audio tape. So this silly issue is now put to rest, right? No more fussing because an adverb was out of place the first time he took it? Nope. They were complaining about a "lack of transparency" because there was no video of the scene. In other words, if the teevee people aren't invited, it didn't happen. This was all discussed perfectly seriously. It shouldn't make me happy to discover that they have no idea how ridiculous they are, but it does.
If you haven't already done this, please consider considering yourself tagged for this meme. I've enjoyed reading these on my FL.
