FedEx returned my computer to me today. At least, I assume it's the same one, but it's hard to be sure. I took the hard drive out before shipping it, and they replaced not just the fan (ha! I told everyone I talked to on the phone the fan was the problem!) but the keyboard and some of the casing. Those things were certainly not in perfect condition, but I was accustomed to which keys were sticky and the crack on the side of the case wasn't really bothering anything. However, non-sticky keys are a bonus.
I doubt I'll ever get caught up with LJ, and I apologize for all the birthdays I missed. Work is crazy for some reason, because this should be a slow period. But I keep finding out new things that our customers have done that didn't work out the way they planned or that suffer from lack of planning on their part.
Mr. M and I are planning a trip abroad. We're talking about meeting M:TNG-1 in London or Florence, two cities we seem to have settled on as our most probable destinations. I'm not sure I believe we're really going anywhere yet, but it's about time we had a real honeymoon. I'm also considering stimulating the economy by buying a new fridge. It would be nice to own one that is significantly younger than the kids and has shelves and handles that aren't Gorilla-glued together.
It is cold. It is still cold. It has been cold forever. And it snowed again yesterday.
