I just got this notice from an insurance company:
We regret that due to an error made in the printing of a postcard intended to remind you of the availability of our HIPPA Privacy notice, you received a postcard with the name of another insured as the addressee. Your name appeared on another recipient's postcard
So they violated my privacy rights by sending out a notice about privacy rights.
The only thing that bothers me is that in all my years as a technical writer, I never got to draft a sentence as wonderfully absurd as the one above.
